$45 per session.
Sessions are held at “Expressive Arts Florida”,
our inspiring, healing, studio in the Towles Court Art Colony in downtown Sarasota.
Creative expression, in a safe, carefully guided setting, is a powerful means for healing the pain of sexual abuse.
This small group will guide participants through themes such as safety, trust, boundaries, overcoming guilt and shame, relationships,
etc. Each session will consist of a gentle meditation, verbal sharing, art making, writing and witnessing. No experience with
art or writing is necessary. Participants should have a referring therapist who can provide individual therapy.

The "Flower of Life" (above) was created by past participants in Transforming Trauma through
Creative Expression. Prints are on sale for $25 at Expressive Arts Florida to create a scholarship fund for women who cannot
afford the group fees.
