"HEAR THE CHILDREN" is a remarkable piece of art created by children, parents and staff in the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program of the Child Protection Center. This piece was funded by the Blue Knights Chapter XVIII, a law enforcement motorcycle organization. Each participant contributed a visual piece (the round segments) and a written piece (collaged together in the center) that represent what she/he wants to say about their experience of abuse. 

"Hear the Children" is 3 ft. wide by 5 ft. high.

It is mixed media and acrylic paint on canvas.

Approximately 50 people, ages 5 through adult, contributed to this piece. Each person's life has been significantly affected by child sexual abuse.
